Beauty Sleep | A Real Thing

When you sleep—your skin's blood flow increases, and the organ rebuilds its collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure, reducing age spots. More collagen means skin is plumper + youthful and less prone to wrinkling.

A 2013 research even says that one night of poor sleep can cause—

  • hanging eyelids

  • swollen eyes

  • darker undereye circles

  • paler skin

  • more wrinkles and fine lines

  • more droopy corners of the mouth

They call it beauty sleep for a reason, it’s very important to get good rest. If you struggle with getting sleep at night and it’s been a while since you’ve truly been well-rested, I recommend that you try one of my personal favorite sleep-promoting fruits and herbs.
